Literal thunderstorms raining down on the whole course and the pro shop worker said it’s “playable” and we can’t get a rain check… wouldn’t budge even though nobody was playing due to the heavy rain and lightning. never coming back

Truly incompetent staff, ranger, and pro shop worker. We have 4 players and a rider and we were chastised 4 times about playing with 5. Pro shop worker was very rude prior to this and the cart boy was also awful. I will never be back to this place and I wouldn’t recommend you come either. There are plenty of other places to golf. Cart worker was nice with beverages so I will give a kudos to that.

I’ve played Flamingo Lakes a few times now with a couple friends, and it’s one of those courses I keep coming back to even though I kinda know exactly what I’m gonna get. It’s a decent course. Not amazing, not bad… just solid. Greens are fine, roll pretty true most of the time. Nothing that’s gonna ruin your day, nothing that’s gonna blow your mind either. Just… golf. Which honestly is sometimes all you need. There are a lot of these small hills throughout the course that make it more interesting than you expect at first. Not dramatic elevation or anything, but enough to keep things from feeling flat and boring. You actually have to think a little about your shots, which I appreciated. And then there’s hole 3. Hole 3 is ridiculous. Like… out of nowhere. You’re standing there and suddenly it feels like you got dropped into a national forest. Woods behind the flag, really nice scenery, whole thing looks way better than it has any right to. I remember thinking “oh wow, this course is about to ramp up…” and yeah… no. That was the peak. That was the moment. The rest of the course just kinda goes back to normal after that, which is a little misleading honestly. First time we played

Really enjoyed this round today. Not sure why it got some bad reviews. Staff was very nice. Also helpful. I bought a glove and the pro there helped me out, find the correct size for my hand. Course is in nice shape. Tight, lots of water hazards and sand. Small undulating greens and fast as hell. Loved them

I have to admit that I was very surprised to see how good this golf course is. The course is situated in a retirement community surrounded by condos, lakes, and white stakes that make the fairways very narrow and challenging to play. The undulating greens are small with very good speed. There are some burned spots in the front 9 greens but the newly constructed back 9 greens are very good. The approach shots need to be high for the balls to stop on the greens. Most fairways are in very good condition with some elevation changes. It's a par 71 course with about 5850 yards to play from the tip. It's definitely not long but with narrow fairways, small greens, and deadly hazards on every hole, each of your shots is planned and played carefully. The pace of play may be slow due to most of the players are seniors.
